Harbour Grace RCMP executes search warrant and arrests three people for possession for the purpose of trafficking

A quantity of cocaine, prescription pills, cash and other items consistent with drug-trafficking were seized following the execution of a search warrant on a Western Bay home on June 4, 2021.

RCMP in Harbour Grace arrested 32-year-old Brandon King, 29-year-old Vanessa Butler and 31-year-old Jessica Roberts of Western Bay on June 4, 2021, following an investigation into local drug trafficking.

The three were taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant on Friday in Western Bay. A quantity of cocaine, prescription pills, cash and other items consistent with drug-trafficking, were located and seized.

Brandon King is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking morphine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking methylphenidate
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of methylphenidate
  • Possession of morphine
  • 4 counts of failing to comply with a release order

Jessica Roberts is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking morphine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking methylphenidate
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of methylphenidate
  • Possession of morphine

Vanessa Butler is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking morphine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking methylphenidate
  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession of methylphenidate
  • Possession of morphine

Vanessa Butler and Jessica Roberts were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court on July 28, 2021.

Brandon King attended court today and was remanded into custody. His next court appearance is on June 16, 2021.
