Harbour Grace RCMP arrests man for break and enter in Victoria

A 26-year-old man was arrested for break and enter at Peter's Variety in Victoria on March 25, 2021.

At approximately 8:40 a.m., police received several reports of a break and enter in progress at Peter's Variety store. When police arrived on scene, they learned that the suspect had fled but was located shortly after based on descriptions provided by eyewitnesses in the area.

The man was arrested and appeared in court where he was charged with Break and Enter, Mischief, Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Failing to comply with a release order. He remains in custody.
