Halifax District RCMP are investigating a home invasion and armed robbery at a residence in Hatchet Lake.
Shortly after 7 a.m. on July 3, Halifax District RCMP received a report of a robbery that had occurred at a residence approximately two hours prior. The culprits stole some of the victims' belongings and fled the scene in the victims' vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently located by Halifax Regional Police in Halifax where 28-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
