Yesterday morning, at approximately 11:55 am, an officer with the Falcon Lake RCMP was travelling eastbound on Highway 1 in a marked police vehicle when he collided with a vehicle, initially travelling southbound on Provincial Road 302, and was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Highway 1.
The 40-year-old male officer as well as the 21-year-old female, from Ste. Genevieve, were both transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Steinbach RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
