Dauphin RCMP arrest male for robbery

On April 28, 2021, at approximately 3:35 am, RCMP responded to a robbery at a business on Main Street South, in Dauphin.

A male entered the store, sprayed the employee with bear mace, stole items, and fled on foot.

The employee was able to provide a description of the suspect and officers located the suspect a short distance from the business. The male was arrested without incident, and found to be in possession of bear spray.

Sean Beaulieu, 30, has been charged with Robbery, Assault with a Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon and Fail to Comply. He was remanded into custody.

Dauphin RCMP continue to investigate.
