Cochrane RCMP request assistance to locate two children and two adults – Update – Still investigating

The Cochrane RCMP, with the assistance of RCMP Major Crimes Unit, continue to investigate the disappearance of 5-year-old Leonine O'Driscoll-Zak and 2-year-old Wyatt O'Driscoll-Zak.

Tips have been coming in to the Cochrane RCMP. The RCMP appreciates the public assistance and will actively monitor and follow up on tips.

The Province of Alberta has particular criteria which must be met in order to activate an Amber Alert. In this circumstance, the RCMP do not have evidence to indicate that the threshold has been met. Further comments about the rationale behind this will not be provided in an effort to protect aspects of this investigation.

Interviews will not be conducted with the media as the RCMP continue to focus their resources on investigating this incident.
