Burin Peninsula RCMP investigates break and enter into Peninsula PharmaChoice in St. Bernard’s-Jacques Fontaine, three people arrested and charged

Three individuals were arrested and charged by Burin Peninsula RCMP following an investigation into a break, enter and theft at the Peninsula PharmaChoice in St. Bernard's-Jacques Fontaine that occurred on August 29, 2021.

Just after 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, police received the report of the break and enter into the pharmacy. Officers attended the scene and confirmed that the crime was committed by three suspects who had forced their way inside the business and stole a quantity of prescription narcotics.

The investigation, which is continuing, led officers to the arrest of and charges against 33-year-old Chad Michael Emberley of Marystown, 32-year-old Darlene Parsons of Lewin's Cove, and 48-year-old Gregory Patrick Walsh of Marystown. Charges for each include break and enter, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, possession of break and enter tools, and disguise with intent.
