ATV driver arrested for impaired operation

Yarmouth Municipal RCMP has arrested a man for impaired operation of a conveyance in a restaurant drive-thru lineup in Yarmouth.

At approximately 12:20 a.m. on March 28, 2021, a Yarmouth Municipal RCMP member was on routine patrol in town when he observed an ATV in the drive-thru lineup at a restaurant on Starrs Road. The member approached the male driver and observed that he was displaying signs of impairment. The driver provided breath samples, which were more than twice the legal limit.

Owen Russell D'Entremont has since been released from custody and will appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court on May 10, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. He has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance and Operation of a Conveyance while having a Blood Alcohol Concentration that was equal to or exceeded 80 mg of alcohol in 100 mL of blood.
