The Kings District RCMP arrested a 57-year-old man for impaired driving in Pamure Island, PEI.
On July 25, 2021 at approximately 8 p.m., the Kings District RCMP responded to a report of a possible impaired driver.
Police located the vehicle in Pamure Island and conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle showed signs of impairment and was transported to the Montague detachment for further testing, which confirmed he was two times above the legal limit.
The driver was arrested, and later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Georgetown Provincial Court on September 2. He was issued a 90-day driving suspension and the vehicle has been impounded for 30 days.
