In the early morning hours of May 11th, 2020, Whitehorse RCMP received a report that numerous windows had been damaged at École Emilie Tremblay. Officers attended and noted 36 broken windows. No one was found inside and it is not believed that entry had been gained.
Whitehorse RCMP are investigating the matter as a mischief over $5000. A Whitehorse area youth was identified and arrested in connection with the incident. The youth has been released on conditions by the Whitehorse RCMP, and compelled for a court appearance on July 7th, 2020.
The investigation is continuing.
