On Sunday, October 25th at approximately 12:15 p.m., Whitehorse RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian collision near Takhini Arena. Officers attended and found a 6-year-old boy receiving medical care from EMS. The boy was transported to hospital for further care.
Yukon RCMP Traffic Services attended and analyzed the scene; the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained on scene and has been co-operative with police investigation. Alcohol and/or drugs are not a factor in this incident. At this time no charges have been laid pending further investigation.
