Thompson RCMP seize drugs and weapons

On June 26, 2020, Thompson RCMP received information that drugs were being sold in the community from a residence on Parkway Crescent. The investigation led officers to execute a warrant on the residence the following day at 12:30pm.

The search warrant led officers to seize approximately 28 grams of crack cocaine, multiple individual rocks of crack cocaine, illicit cannabis, various weapons, and cash.

RCMP have arrested and charged three people from Thompson:

26-year-old Cynthia Harlem Cook was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime.

A 30-year-old male is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime.

A 19-year-old male is facing charges of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling, and possession of property obtained by crime.

RCMP continues to investigate.
