Thompson RCMP investigate armed robbery

On November 16, 2020, at approximately 5:10 pm, RCMP responded to a robbery at a business on Cree Road, in Thompson.

A male suspect entered the business, approached the counter and asked to purchase a 24 pack of beer. The employee went to the back to retrieve the beer, and at this time the male nodded to a second suspect, who then entered the store. The second suspect approached the counter, sprayed the employee with bear spray, and then both suspects took off on foot.

The employee was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The first suspect is described as a tall male, wearing a black toque, black face mask, camouflage hoodie with a black jacket over it.

The second suspect is believed to be female, wearing a black face mask, black hoodie with red writing on the sleeves, grey sweat pants and white sneakers.
