Thompson RCMP arrest youths in stabbing

On June 19, 2020, at approximately 11:35 pm, RCMP responded to a stabbing outside a business on Thompson Drive, in Thompson.

A 36-year-old male was robbed and stabbed by a group of youths. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident was captured on video surveillance.

Officers immediately responded and located several suspects that matched the descriptions. An 18-year-old female along with three male youths, ages 17, 15 and 13 were arrested.

The 15-year-old male and 13-year-old male were both charged with Robbery with a Weapon and Failing to Comply with Conditions. They were remanded into custody.

The 17-year-old male is facing a charge of Robbery with a Weapon and the 18-year-old female will be facing a charge of Failing to Comply, both will be appearing in court at a later date.

RCMP continue to investigate.
