The Pas, Manitoba

News release

Update: Rodney St. Gelais has been safely located. Thank you to the public and the media for your assistance.

On November 12, 2020, at approximately 3:20 pm, The Pas RCMP received a report of a male in distress. The male also had multiple warrants for his arrest, some of which were in relation to violent crimes. Police attended and arrested the 26-year-old male. He was taken directly to the hospital for medical assessment.

At approximately 8:30 pm, while still waiting to be seen by a doctor, the male was walking to the washroom, when he made a dash for the door and was able to leave the hospital. Officers were able to see him run northbound to Fischer Avenue, but he has evaded police since that time.

Rodney St. Gelais was handcuffed and wearing clothing suitable for the weather. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a ballcap on and the hood up. He had a black cloth facemask with a white Nike logo on the left side. St. Gelais was wearing tan khaki pants with white/grey shoes, and a light blue almost grey plaid jacket with snap buttons. He has a black stud piercing in the centre of his left eyebrow. Police are concerned for his well-being.

If you see St. Gelais, do not approach him as he could be a threat to himself or others. Call police immediately.

RCMP are asking anyone with information to call The Pas RCMP at 204-627-6204, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
