Suspect arrested following stabbing incident

On March 21 at 10:40 p.m., Windsor RCMP responded to a call that a man had been stabbed in the face, sustained serious injuries, and he was on his way to the hospital.

RCMP officers located the victim and witnesses. They determined that the victim had been attacked by another man with a utility knife, and he sustained injuries to his face. The suspect is known to the victim.

Investigators were not able to locate the suspect on March 21, however the suspect turned himself in at Windsor RCMP Detachment the following evening. Riley Crosby, 24, of Windsor, was arrested and has been charged with:

  • Aggravated Assault,
  • Assault with Weapon
  • Breach of Conditions (2 counts)

He was held in custody overnight and is appearing in Kentville Provincial Court later today.
