Ste Rose RCMP make arrest in stabbing investigation

On October 1, 2020, at approximately, 2:00 pm, Ste Rose RCMP received a report of a stabbing at the Ebb and Flow General Store in Ebb and Flow First Nation, Manitoba. When officers arrived on scene, a 24-year-old male was severely injured. He was transported to a Winnipeg hospital.

As the incident occurred on the front porch of the store, a number of witnesses could identify the suspect, who left the area on foot. RCMP Police Dog Services and a RCMP drone operator attended to assist with the search for the suspect. He turned himself in a short while later.

A 17-year-old male is facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and he had several outstanding warrants.

The victim remains in stable but critical condition at the hospital.
