A 24-year-old St. Patrick's man was arrested for impaired driving near Springdale, thanks to a report from a concerned citizen.
Late in the evening on April 28, 2020, Springdale RCMP were informed of a suspected impaired driver near Springdale. Police patrolled and located the vehicle that had gone off the road and struck a telephone pole.
The driver was impaired; he was arrested and transported to the detachment where he provided breath samples nearly twice the legal limit. His driver's licence was suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded.
He was released from custody and is set to attend court at a later date to face charges of impaired driving.
