On October 12, 2020, at approximately 2:15 am, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a collision on Netley Road, approximately 2 km west of Highway 8, in the RM of St. Andrews.
A passer-by had come across a vehicle in the ditch and called emergency services.
It is believed the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled. The driver and sole occupant, a 20-year-old male from Matlock, was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
Selkirk RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
