Canora RCMP respond to fatal collision

Around 5:45 a.m. September 19, Canora RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle rollover (truck) on Whitesand Drive near the community of Canora, Sask. An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, Canora Fire and Canora EMS also attended. The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year-old male from Norquay, Sask. was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. We will not be releasing the name of the deceased.

Stanley Mission RCMP respond to fatal collision

Around 3:50 a.m. September 19, Stanley Mission RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle collision on Highway #915 approximately 15 kilometers south of Stanley Mission. There were five occupants in the car – all adults from Stanley Mission, Sask. A 36-year-old female passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene. All other occupants were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, La Ronge Fire, La Ronge EMS and La Ronge and Stanley Mission RCMP all attended the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. We will not be releasing the name of the deceased.
