Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit: Charges laid after search warrant executed at Regina residence

Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a Regina man with two child pornography offences in relation to an investigation that began in July 2019 into the online accessing of child pornography through file sharing networks. On January 10, 2020 members of the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Regina that was identified as the location where the offences were occurring. Child pornography was located at the residence and a computer was seized for further forensic analysis.

Landon Gilbert GLADUE, age 31, of Regina was arrested and has been charged with;

  • Possession of Child Pornography – Sec. 163.1 (4) C.C.
  • Accessing Child Pornography – Sec. 163.1 (4.1) C.C.

He was remanded into custody and appeared in Regina Provincial Court on January 13. He has been released from custody on numerous conditions and will next be appearing January 21 at 9:30 a.m.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
