RCMP seeking information following arson of pickup truck

The West District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance following an arson of a pickup truck in Speerville, N.B.

On August 18, 2020, shortly before 4 a.m., members of the Woodstock RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle on fire outside a home on Speerville Road. The vehicle, which was unoccupied at the time, was destroyed by the fire.

The RCMP is releasing surveillance video photos showing two individuals arriving on the property in a silver 2003 Dodge Ram shortly before the fire began . The individuals fled the scene in the same vehicle.

Anyone with information about this incident or those responsible is asked to call the Woodstock RCMP 506-325-3000. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
