News release

RCMP NL is recognizing the actions of one of their own following an incident in the town of Sheshatshiu.

Sheshatshiu RCMP responded to a person in distress who was in a body of water. One of the RCMP officers who responded to the call for service, Constable (Cst.) Andrew Cowper, swam out with two life jackets to assist the man to shore.
