RCMP make arrest and seize large quantity of methamphetamine

On June 10, 2020, at approximately 1:00 pm, Spruce Plains RCMP, along with the assistance of Manitoba West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) and Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the Town of Minnedosa. The search of the residence resulted in a substantial seizure of crystal methamphetamine (730 grams), cocaine (73 grams), numerous prescription pills, and over $5,500.00 in cash. The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated to be $126,000.00.

RCMP have arrested and charged a 31-year-old female, from Minnedosa, with five counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. She was released before a Justice and is set to appear in court on August 11, 2020.

The Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team focuses on intelligence-based investigations into drugs, rural property crime and serious, prolific offenders within our communities.
