RCMP investigating theft of pickup truck

The Northeast District RCMP is seeking information from the public that could help locate a pickup truck that was stolen in Nash Creek, N.B.

On November 12, 2020, at approximately 8 a.m., police received a report of a stolen vehicle from the parking lot of a business on Route 134. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 5 p.m. on November 11 and 8 a.m. on November 12, 2020.

The vehicle is described as a red 2006 Ford Ranger with New Brunswick licence plate number CNO 244 and vehicle identification number 1FTYR44U56PA48154. The box of the pickup is white in colour. A picture of the vehicle is not available.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicle, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area between the evening hours of November 11 and the early morning hours of November 12, is asked to call the Chaleur Region RCMP at 506-548-7771. The investigation is ongoing.
