RCMP investigating theft of firearms

The West District RCMP is seeking information from the public to assist in their investigation of a break, enter, and theft from a home in Sainte-Anne-De-Madawaska, NB.

On July 17,2020, around 8 p.m., police received a report of a break, enter, and theft at a home on Theriault Road. It is believed that someone gained entry into the home through the garage and stole three firearms sometime between midnight and 4 p.m on July 17.

The firearms are a Ruger .22 LR semi-automatic rifle, a Hatsan Escort 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun and a Springfield 7mm bolt-action rifle.
