RCMP investigating suspicious structure fire

The Richibucto RCMP is asking for the public's help in its investigation into a suspicious structure fire that occurred in Bouctouche, N.B.

During the early morning hours of November 3, 2020, members of the Richibucto RCMP and Bouctouche Fire Department responded to a building locally known as "La Taverne à Joe" on Irving Boulevard. The business was unoccupied at the time and was completely destroyed by the fire. Nobody was injured.

The investigation has determined the fire to be suspicious in nature. The RCMP along with the Provincial Fire Marshal's office are continuing to investigate to determine the cause of the fire.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during the early morning hours of November 3, is asked to contact the Richibucto RCMP at 506-523-4611.
