RCMP investigating suspicious fires on farm property

The Southeast District RCMP is investigating two suspicious structure fires at a farm in Dundas, N.B.

On May 21, 2020, around 11:15 p.m., the RCMP along with members of the Moncton Fire Department, Dieppe Fire Department, and Saint-Paul Fire Department responded to a call of two structures on fire at a farm on Route 490. The property was vacant at the time and nobody was injured. The two structures were destroyed.

The investigation has deemed the fires to be suspicious in nature. A dark-coloured medium-sized vehicle was seen in the area before the fire started.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed suspicious activity, is asked to contact the Riverview RCMP at 506-387-2222. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (84777) or www.crimenb.ca.
