On April 5, at 7:55 p.m., a member of Pictou District RCMP was on patrol and found a structure fire at a business on Caladh Ave. in Pictou. Pictou Fire Department was immediately contacted and attended the scene to extinguish the fire.
The fire caused substantial damage to the building and police are investigating this fire as suspicious. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information about it is asked to call the RCMP in Pictou at 902-755-4141.
