RCMP investigating damage to commemorative bench and community mailboxes

The Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in finding the person or people responsible for damaging a commemorative bench in the community as well as seven community mailboxes.

The incidents happened during the evening hours of May 18, 2020 and the early morning hours of May 19, 2020. A commemorative granite bench located on River Valley Drive was destroyed. The bench was presented to the community by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). Seven community mailboxes were also tipped over along Woolastook Drive.
