RCMP investigating break, enter and theft at business

The Hampton RCMP is asking for the public's assistance with their investigation into a break, enter, and theft at a business in the community.

On June 4, 2020, shortly after 12 p.m., police received a report of a break and enter at the Hampton Family Meat Mart located on Kierstead Avenue. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between the evening hours of June 3, 2020 and the morning hours of June 4, 2020. An individual or individuals gained entry into the business, and stole various types of meat and an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed suspicious activity or who has information about this break, enter and theft is asked to contact the Hampton RCMP Detachment at 506-832-5566. Information can also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or online at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
