RCMP investigates suspicious fire of storage trailer

Yarmouth RCMP is investigating a suspicious fire at a storage trailer on Water St. in Yarmouth.

At approximately 7 a.m. Thursday, Yarmouth RCMP and the Yarmouth Fire Department responded to a fire at a storage trailer on Water Street in Yarmouth. The trailer incurred significant damage. It contents mainly included empty cardboard boxes and it was not occupied at the time. Nobody was injured.

The investigation has determined the fire is suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the fire or observed anyone in the area between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. near 236 Water Street is asked to contact Yarmouth District RCMP at 902-742-9106.
