Annapolis District RCMP is investigating a fatal two vehicle collision that occurred yesterday on Bridge St., in Melvern Square, Annapolis County.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on September 10, the RCMP, EHS and Kingston District Fire Department responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Bridge St. The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man from Tremont, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the car was transported to hospital by EHS with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. An RCMP Collision Analyst attended, and the street was closed for several hours. It has since re-opened.
