Prince Albert RCMP: Break and enter with discharge of firearm

At approximately 1:00 a.m. this morning, Prince Albert RCMP and Prince Albert City Police Service received the report of a break and enter in progress and a discharge of firearm at a residence east of Prince Albert, SK.

Upon arrival, officers were informed by the homeowner of waking up to the sound of the window breaking on the glass door of the residence. When the homeowner went to go and see what was going on, the homeowner heard the sound of a firearm being discharged. The homeowner was not injured as a result of this incident.

The individual(s) fled on foot. At this time, the individual(s) are unknown and there are no descriptors are available.

Prince Albert RCMP and Prince Albert Forensic Identification Section continue to investigate this incident.
