At 6:00 pm, on August 22, 2020, as a result of an ongoing investigation, officers from Powerview executed a search warrant at a residence located on Walnut Street in Pine Falls. The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 110 grams of cocaine and drug related paraphernalia.
RCMP have charged 39-year-old Vidal Bruyere and 31-year-old Sarina Houston, both of Pine Falls, with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and they are both scheduled to appear in court on September 1, 2020, in Pine Falls.
Later that evening, at approximately 9:00 pm, officers executed a search warrant at a residence located on Louise Street in Powerview. The search of this residence resulted in the seizure of a saw-off shotgun and ammunition.
RCMP have charged 29-year-old William Yuzicappi, of Powerview, with four counts of firearm related offences and he remains in custody.
