Shortly after 1:35 a.m. this morning, Pictou District RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision on Egypt Rd. in Hillside.
A preliminary investigation determined that a single vehicle left the roadway and overturned. One woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other occupants, a male and a female were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Egypt Rd. was closed in both directions in the area while RCMP Collision Analyst was on scene. The road re-opened near 6 a.m. The collision remains under investigation.
