One person arrested; drugs and weapons seized following execution of search warrant

A 23-year-old woman from Moncton, N.B., has been arrested following the execution of a search warrant that resulted in a quantity of drugs and two prohibited weapons being seized.

On May 16, 2020, at 12:40 a.m., members of the Codiac RCMP Crime Reduction Unit along with the Codiac Regional RCMP and the RCMP Police Dog Service executed a search warrant at a home on Clarendon Drive in Moncton. The search was executed as part of an ongoing drug investigation that began earlier this year.

During the search, the RCMP arrested a 23-year-old woman and seized several items including:

  • a quantity of what is believed to be crystal methamphetamine
  • a quantity of what is believed to be cocaine
  • a quantity of methamphetamine pills
  • two prohibited weapons
  • various drug paraphernalia

The 23-year-old woman was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 24, 2020.

The investigation is ongoing.
