PEI Prince JFO seize 224 methamphetamine pills during targeted traffic stop

The Prince District Joint Force Operations (JFO) Unit which is comprised of RCMP, Summerside, and Kensington Police members conducted a targeted vehicle stop on Tuesday, July 28th, in Linkletter, PEI The 35-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. As a result of this stop, police seized 224 methamphetamine pills.

The 35-year-old man has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, resist arrest, and breach of probation. He will appear in Summerside Provincial Court on July 29th, 2020.

The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
