At approximately 5:35 am, on May 31, 2020, Morris RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle collision on PR 200 near the intersection of Road 6N in the Municipality of Emerson-Franklin.
The investigation has determined that a vehicle, being driven by a 21-year-old female from Morris, was heading northbound on PR 200 when it lost control, entered the ditch, and rolled.
The 21-year-old driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased on scene. A 23-year-old male passenger, from Winnipeg, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Morris RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
