Missing person found deceased, homicide investigation ongoing

The 26-year-old man who was reported missing on September 27 has been located deceased. The remains were located on September 29 near the intersection of Saunders Rd. and Raynardton Rd. in Yarmouth County.

The death of Colton James Cook is considered by police to be suspicious and it is being investigated as a homicide. The RCMP's Southwest Nova Major Crimes Unit is conducting the investigation with the assistance of Yarmouth Town and Rural Detachments.
