Missing 34-year-old woman from Saint-Isidore located safe

The missing 34-year-old woman from Saint-Isidore who was reported missing on July 17, 2020, has been located safe.

The woman's vehicle was discovered in Rough Water, near Bathurst on July 18. The New Brunswick RCMP along with the RCMP's helicopter, the RCMP's unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the RCMP Police Dog Services, and local Ground Search and Rescue searched the area for several days without locating her.

On July 28, 2020, shortly after 4:45 p.m., police were notified that the woman had been located safe in the woods near Pabineau Falls, not far from Highway 8. She was found by employees of East Coast Powerline, who were working in the area. She was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

The New Brunswick RCMP would like to thank the employees of East Coast Powerline and the public for their assistance.
