Superintendent Gord Stewart, Acting District Commander for Central Alberta District, is pleased to announce that Inspector Leanne MacMillan is the new Detachment Commander of Maskwacis RCMP Detachment.
Leanne has been an RCMP member for 19 years, serving all over "E" and "K" Divisions, including Vernon, Prince George, Leduc and most recently the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team.
Inspector MacMillan will focus on crime reduction and community engagement, building on the strong ties between the RCMP and the community at large through meaningful dialogue on policing matters. She is looking forward to working closely with the Ermineskin, Louis Bull, Montana, and Samson First Nation communities of Maskwacis.
