The Maskwacis RCMP is investigating the death of a 47-year-old female, which was reported on Dec. 9, 2020.
At 1:51 p.m., Maskwacis RCMP responded to assist EMS at a call for service on the Ermineskin Cree Nation. A female, in a residence, was pronounced deceased, and her death is being investigated. The Major Crimes Unit is engaged to assist in the investigation.
RCMP investigators examined the residence and the collection of witness evidence, video canvass and neighbourhood inquiries are ongoing.
