Marystown man charged for transmitting child pornography

Fifty-year-old Keith Barry of Marystown was arrested on May 13, 2020, following an investigation into the transmission of child pornography by Burin Peninsula RCMP and the RCMP/RNC Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (IICE) team.

In April, 2020, IICE received information which triggered the investigation and led police to the arrest and charge against Barry.

Barry was released from custody with a number of conditions designed to protect the general public and is charged with transmitting child pornography. He is set to attend court on July 29, 2020.
