Manitoba RCMP asking the public to avoid attending detachments for non-urgent matters

March 17, 2020
Winnipeg, Manitoba

News release

The RCMP has 80 detachments spread across Manitoba, and each detachment is an important point of contact between the RCMP and the communities we serve.

It is important to us that we remain accessible to Manitobans for when you need us most. For precautionary reasons due to COVID-19, effectively immediately, we are asking that the public only visit a detachment if it's urgent.

If you have a non-urgent matter, have a general question or want to speak with an officer, please call your local detachment: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/detach/en/find/MB

If you need fingerprints for a background check, please note that this service is being postponed until further notice.

As always, if it's an emergency, please call 911 or your local emergency number.
