A 57-year-old man from Saint-Martin-de-Restigouche has died following a collision on route 260 in Saint-Quentin, N.B.
Just after 4 p.m. on March 14, 2020, members of the Northeast District RCMP responded to a report of a collision on route 260 in Saint-Quentin.
The incident happened when a vehicle travelling southbound on route 260 got stuck in snow bank and a driver of a second vehicle stopped to assist. The 57-year-old man was pushing the stuck vehicle when a third vehicle collided with his, which in turn struck him. The man died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The other motorists were taken to hospital and later released.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
