A 20-year-old man from Saint-André, N.B., has been charged with 12 offences following a joint investigation by the RCMP and the Grand Falls Police Force.

On November 7, 2020, police officers with the Grand Falls Police Force arrested a man at a business on Tobique Road in Grand Falls. The man was wanted in connection with several ongoing investigations by the Saint-Léonard RCMP, and RCMP members were called to the scene. During the arrest, Grand Falls police officers seized quantities of what is believed to be methamphetamines, as well as Canadian currency. Upon their arrival, RCMP members observed a prohibited firearm in the man's vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the seizure of the firearm, as well as ammunition and a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine pills.

On November 12, 2020, 20-year-old Isaac Ledoux appeared in Edmundston provincial court and was charged with:

  • three counts of flight from police
  • three counts of operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited
  • one count of dangerous operation of a conveyance
  • four counts of failure to comply with a probation order
  • one count of possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.

He was remanded in custody pending a court appearance to enter a plea on November 25. The investigation is ongoing.
