On April 24, 2020, at approximately 9:30 am, RCMP responded to a report of snowmobile collision on the shores of Bella Lake, on Garden Hill First Nation.
Community members had located a snowmobile and rider that was involved in a collision sometime overnight. The 31-year-old male from Garden Hill, was pronounced deceased at scene.
At this time, it is believed that the male struck a large snowbank, collided with a tree and was thrown from the snowmobile. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
RCMP continue to investigate.
