Human remains were located in the Long Lake area of Whitehorse the morning of Wednesday, May 13th, 2020.
Police are asking hikers and the public to avoid the Long Lake area over the next few days, as RCMP officers work to complete ground searches related to this investigation.
RCMP investigators are working closely with the Yukon Coroner's Service on this investigation.
