Holyrood RCMP seeks dash cam videos and witnesses to vehicles racing on TCH near Butter Pot Park

Holyrood RCMP is currently investigating a number of vehicles racing on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) near Butter Pot Park following an incident that occurred on July 28, 2020.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the report of multiple vehicles racing on the TCH between Butter Pot Park and Foxtrap Access Road. The vehicles were traveling at high rates of speed in a dangerous manner.

Vehicle descriptions provided to police were a green Dodge Viper (2014-2016 model), a newer model yellow Dodge Challenger with a black racing stripe going over the hood/roof area of the car, a newer model white Ford Mustang with a blue racing stripe going over the hood/roof area of the car and a newer model black Chevrolet Corvette with tinted windows.

The investigation is continuing.
